Experience: Proven experience in site engineer role within the construction industry, RHD/LGED/PWD projects.·
Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and method statements.·
Communication: Strong verbal communication skills for managing crews and reporting to management.
Responsibilities & Context:
Having experience in RHD/LGED/PWD projects.
Conduct engineering surveys for the selected roads and other structures including Box girder and PC girder bridge, Road, Building etc.
Provide inputs into the design process prepare the Bill of Quantities as per the final design drawings and calculate the final quantities.
Having experience in piling work.
Assess the work activities for which labor-based construction methods are appropriate and for those sections for which heavy machinery is appropriate, establish a cost estimate for the rehabilitation and construction works for roads & bridges.
Excavation and embankment
Supervise contractors on site, ensuring that the works meet the highest standards.
Review the contractor`s work programmers, resource, schedule and project implementation plan and ensure that the contractors/site supervisors comply with their work plans and complete the work within the specified time frame.
Liaison with governmental organizations on any issue that arises.
Budget allocation for the project. Guidelines for cost control and reporting.
