Educational Requirements:
∎ HSC
∎ Diploma in Ceramic Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
∎ Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and digital printing equipment.
∎ Strong understanding of color theory, materials, and glaze chemistry.
∎ Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
∎ Good communication and collaboration skills.
∎ Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
∎ Prior experience in ceramic manufacturing or digital printing is a plus.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
∎ Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create digital designs for ceramic products using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
∎ Adjust existing designs to meet customer specifications or production requirements.
∎ Collaborate with the design team to develop aesthetically pleasing and technically feasible designs.
∎ Collaborate with shed matching experts to ensure that the glaze and ceramic body colors match accurately.
∎ Analyze and adjust glaze recipes to achieve the desired color shades.
∎ Monitor and maintain the color consistency throughout the shed matching process.
∎ Operate digital printing equipment to transfer designs onto ceramic surfaces.
∎ Monitor printing parameters such as ink consistency, speed, and resolution to ensure high-quality prints.
∎ Troubleshoot printing issues and collaborate with technicians for repairs and maintenance.
∎ Conduct quality checks on printed ceramic products to ensure designs meet specifications.
∎ Identify and rectify printing defects promptly to maintain high-quality standards.
∎ Collaborate with quality control teams to implement improvements in the printing process.
∎ Liaise with cross-functional teams, including designers, technicians, and production staff, to coordinate design and printing processes.
∎ Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in ceramic design and digital printing.
∎ Contribute to the research and development of new printing techniques and materials to enhance product quality and efficiency.
∎ Maintain detailed records of design specifications, adjustments, and printing parameters.
∎ Prepare reports on printing efficiency, material usage, and quality control metrics.
∎ Any other job as and when required by the management.
