Responsibilities & Context:

Security Officer (In-Charge) Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing and implementing the overall Safety and Security Plan of the Factory Premises.

• Assign shifts and responsibilities, ensuring sufficient security coverage at all times. Conduct regular briefings with security staff to review protocols, procedures, and current threats.

• Responsible for the overall management of the security operations including Company Assets.

• To protect the factory from all kinds of theft, pilferage, and robbery of the Company Assets.

• Preventing any unauthorized entry or trespassing through the factory premises.

• Ensure proper checking & registering of the movement of the raw materials, products & company assets.

• Responsible for taking Fire Preventive Measures and conducting Safety and Security Training for the Security personnel including periodical demonstrations of fire drills within the factory premises.

• Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency medical services in the event of a crisis.

• Conduct regular security and emergency training sessions for security personnel and other employees.

• To keep account of all necessary safety equipment and ensure its proper utilization.

• To inspect and monitor personnel deployment of guards physically at day and night as per roster and administer the security team.

• Responsible for updating the Management about important issues that need to be addressed urgently for the greater interest of the Company.

• Any other job as and when assigned by the Management.

Supervisor Responsibilities :

• Lead and supervise a team of Security Guards.

• Ensure appropriate deployment to ensure the utmost safety and security.

• Conduct regular and random inspections or patrols in the factory to ensure security alertness.

• Control all kinds of visitors and vehicles, check and search.

• Maintain different registers related to security, guests, inventory, etc., and prepare reports accordingly.

• Monitor the access control process to restrict trespassing.

• Ensure the necessary protocol for all in due diligence.

• Assist in developing security policies and procedures and implementing them accurately.

• Respond to security incidents and emergencies and coordinate activities accordingly.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

• Carry out other activities as guided by the Management.
