∎ Direct knowledge and experience in Tile design.
∎ Direct knowledge and experience in Tile design.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure tiles in different batches have consistent shades, avoiding visible discrepancies.
∎ Check for uniformity in color, texture, and finish during the manufacturing process.
∎ Should have knowledge about Ceramic Color Profile.
∎ Expert in shade and color matching for Ceramic Tiles.
∎ Coordinate with the Senior Designer(s), Production Team, QC Team and come up with satisfactory results like previous production.
∎ Oversee the application of glazes, inks, and coatings to maintain shade consistency.
∎ Create and update shade cards for reference during production and customer selection.
∎ Perform tests on color variations under different lighting conditions and adjust formulations as needed.
∎ Ensure raw materials (pigments, glazes) meet color standards before use in production.
∎ Identify and correct shade defects or inconsistencies in production batches.
∎ Maintain records of color standards, test results, and production adjustments.
∎ This position aligns with the responsibilities of a Senior Officer / Senior Graphics Designer / Senior Shade Matcher.
