Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform inspection of incoming products, materials or customer items according to job order, such as -measure and record the dimension of components/parts using measuring instruments and analyses the findings for discrepancy; -perform nondestructive test or hardness test (if necessary) and analyze findings and raise report where necessary; -take photographs of the components/parts for recording purposes
∎ Perform initial inspection and raise report
∎ Perform in-process inspection according to procedures and customer's specifications. Raise report whenever necessary
∎ Raise non-conformance report and submit to Immediate Supervisor
∎ Maintain and improve product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits; investigating customer complaints; collaborating with other members of management to develop new product
∎ Validate quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification
∎ Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations
∎ Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for materials, and products
∎ Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields such as electrical, or mechanical
∎ Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability
∎ Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities
∎ Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility
∎ May specialize in areas of quality control engineering, such as design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, product reliability, inventory control, metrology, automated testing, software, research and development, and administrative application
∎ May manage quality control program
∎ Perform any other related duties as assigned by Immediate Supervisor
