  • Must have computer skill & able to operate tally software.
  • Must have pro-efficiency in English & Bangle.


Responsibilities & Context:

Financial Management & Accounting:

  • Receive and sort bills and requisitions.
  • Prepare vouchers, cheques, and post vouchers in the bank book/accounting software.
  • Maintain appropriate filing of financial records and ensure proper backup of all files.
  • Physically verify petty cash position on a regular basis.
  • Perform day-to-day bank and treasury functions.
  • Prepare monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements.
  • Prepare and process staff salary payments as per the approved monthly salary sheet of the project on time.
  • Maintain basic set of accounting information.
  • Ensure that accurate and complete accounting documents and other financial information are available to all stakeholders for reference and future needs.
  • Prepare financial reports for the project as per organizational and donor requirements.
  • Provide necessary support to auditors during audits of financial activities.

Procurement & Asset Management:

  • Collect price quotations and prepare comparative statements and work orders following organizational policy.
  • Ensure supplier payments are accurate and that value for money is achieved in all procurements.
  • Maintain and update fixed asset records of the respective project.

Administrative & Compliance Support:

  • Update personal files of employees.
  • Prepare various agreements related to the respective project.
  • Assist in arranging travel support for both local and foreign trips.
  • Maintain liaison with program activities and provide necessary support as required.
  • Prepare FD-6, FD-2, FC-1, and FD-7 forms and maintain liaison with NGOAB and local administration.
  • Prepare requisitions, forward them for approval through the Head of Finance & Administration, and ensure payments after approval.
