Experience:
Master’s/MBA degree in any discipline (preferably in Law, HRM, or Public Administration) from reputed public or private university.
Postgraduate diploma in compliance will be an added extra advantage.
Strong knowledge of labor law, social compliance standards, and audit requirements.
Must be proficient and fluent in English.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple audits.
GMS Textiles Ltd. is a complete GREEN Project & one of the most modern Composite Knit wear factories in Bangladesh is going to recruit “Senior Officer - Compliance” for factory unit located at Tansutrapur, Kaliakoir, Gazipur.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor and ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law, ILO conventions, and buyer codes of conduct (BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, Accord/Alliance, etc.).
Assist in preparing the factory for buyer audits, social audits, and certifications.
Maintain documentation and reports related to compliance and sustainability.
Conduct regular inspections on working hours, wages, safety, health & hygiene, and grievance mechanisms.
Provide awareness training to workers and staff regarding compliance requirements.
Coordinate with buyer representatives, auditors, and stakeholders to ensure compliance standards are met.
Identify non-compliance issues and support in corrective action plan (CAP) implementation.
