Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certification on HR is highly desirable. Proven experience as an HR Manager within a diverse, dynamic organization for at least five years. Strong knowledge of Bangladesh labor laws and regulations. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to translate strategic HR initiatives into practical solutions. Proactive problem solver with a hands-on, results-driven approach. A humble, meticulous, and confident professional with a proven track record in change management. Ability to quickly dig down the processes and data; however, also take a step back and take in the overview of the situation. Analyze problems and translate them into concrete improvements and get the right buy-in and implement them. Self-starter, proactive, and decisive. Cultivates positive employee relationships and effectively resolves workplace conflicts. Fosters continuous learning culture and promotes inclusivity and diversity. Adapts to evolving business landscapes and demonstrates resilience in challenges. A team player who continuously improves self and the people around him/ her. Computer Literacy is must with specialization in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

The role is critical to advancing HR initiatives that support the company’s overall objectives, enhance workplace culture, and ensure employee well-being and development with primary focus on the work force in or seconded from Bangladesh. The senior HR Manager will be responsible for managing various HR functions in Bangladesh, and supporting ASA International’s mission of HR responsibility and impact in respect of the staff base in Dhaka as well as the expats seconded from Bangladesh. Assist in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives. Drive organizational culture, employee engagement, and talent retention initiatives. Manage general HR practices: staffing, performance, employee relations, welfare. Coordinate HR projects: HR software, pay band/ pay structures, DEI (Diversity. Equity & Inclusion). Coordinate the recruitment process, ensuring the acquisition of top-tier talent to meet business needs in Bangladesh. Develop and implement effective onboarding and orientation programs. Foster a positive work environment through effective employee relations and conflict resolution. Implement and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance. Identify training needs and facilitate the development of training programs. Ensure competitive and equitable pay structures and benefits to attract and retain talent. Utilize HR analytics to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Utilize HR analytics for continuous improvement and reporting. Stay abreast of labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
