• Minimum 6 to 8 Years’ experience in garments (woven/denim), with focus on fabric and wash handling.

• Must have hands-on experience with Inditex buyers – ZARA, Pull & Bear, Bershka, NEXT.

• Must be a Denim Enthusiast.

• understanding of woven denim fabrics, denim wash processes and patterns, difficulties and the solutions.

• Great command on garment construction, pattern basics, and fit evaluation.

• Strong sourcing capabilities of Fabric and wash.

• Should have effective control over wash factories.

• Extensive knowledge of wet and dry processes.

• Good understanding of market trends and ability to prepare wash presentations for clients.

• Ability to handle multiple styles and work under pressure.

• Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation on fabric structure and wash as well, and suggest improvements on development and samples, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Develop new garments based on fashion trends and working closely with the development and marketing team.
• Carry out risk assessments during development and pre-production meetings.
• Ensure accurate execution of technical specifications (measurements, fit, and wash).
• Coordinate activities between the Washing Unit, Factory, and Merchandising Team to ensure smooth workflow and timely execution.
• Oversee technical and production aspects of garment washing to meet quality and buyer standards.
• Develop new wash techniques, finishes, and effects for denim products in alignment with market trends and buyer expectations.
• Stay updated with global denim washing trends, eco-friendly wash innovations, and integrate them into product development.
• Work closely with the team to ensure washing standards are achieved during bulk production.
• Maintain comprehensive technical reports for the wash unit, with emphasis on sustainability and traceability compliance.
• Train and mentor teams on technical developments, ensuring knowledge transfer and capability building within the R&D function.
