Job Context:
∎ A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Ladieswear Garment Technologist to join our team in Bangladesh specializing in, ladies Nightwear (jersey and woven) Legging, blouses, Tailoring, supplying a broad spectrum of UK high street brands. You must have at least 4 years` experience working in a similar environment with UK customers for a fast paced supplier.
∎ BD Office Address: House # 247 (4th Floor), Road # 03 (East Side), Baridhara DOHS, Dhaka -1206, Bangladesh
∎ Sri Lanka Office Address: Urubokka Road, 82500 Katuwana Southern Province, Sri Lanka.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Keep track of the critical path and update system.
∎ Receive and check all production samples.
∎ Attend orders meetings and weekly reviews to discuss critical paths.
∎ Review comments from previous fits and check all amendments have been followed through.
∎ Measure and prepare samples for fit meeting and attend fits with the customer, taking fit notes.
∎ Regular contact with factories to ensure all samples are sent on time.
∎ Attending customer facing fit sessions.
∎ Checking samples.
Additional Requirements:
∎ This role requires a person who is organized, pro-active, a team player and also able to work on their own.
∎ Good technical knowledge of different fabrics.
∎ Experience working with Far East factories.
∎ Knowledge of supply chain management.
∎ Must be able to communicate at all levels.
∎ Able to work to deadlines.
∎ Able to communicate clearly.
∎ Problem solving skills.
∎ Good attention to detail.
∎ At least 4 years' experience working with a supplier.
∎ Good technical knowledge of different fabric's.
∎ Experience working with multi products.
∎ Very organized.
