Responsibilities & Context:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations (National and International)
- Monitor and record emissions, waste, water usage, and other environmental parameters as per legal and internal requirements.
- Assist in obtaining and renewing environmental permits (e.g., consent to operate, hazardous waste authorization, air and water pollution consents).
- Maintain and update all environmental documentation, including reports, checklists, and audit records.
- Conduct internal environmental audits and support external regulatory inspections.
- Track changes in environmental regulations and communicate necessary updates to internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to implement best environmental practices.
- Support in the implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 or other environmental management systems.
- Assist in organizing environmental training and awareness programs for employees.
