Responsibilities & Context:
Conduct seasonal fabric trend research based on buyer profiles and market forecasts.
Collect hanger samples from supplies/mills aligned with seasonal themes and buyer mood boards.
Prepare trend boards and maintain fabric libraries for design and merchandising reference.
Coordination with mills, suppliers and internal merchant teams to develop new fabrics as per buyer requirements.
Ensure timely submission of development samples and maintain developments trackers.
Collect fabrics prices from multiple sources to ensure competitive costing.
