Job Context:
∎ To strengthen our continuous business growth ambition in Bangladesh, Arla Foods is currently looking for an energetic and strategic individual for the position of Senior Executive - Production.
∎ Job Location: Packaging Plant – Konabari, Gazipur
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead a group of shop floor production team & Running a Shift operation independently.
∎ Reporting of KPI’s in local and global business reviews.
∎ Assess the capacity by understanding the line labor standard.
∎ Generate and issue instructions to factory shop floor and facilitate execution of production instructions by allocating appropriate resources.
∎ Prepare cascade and execute factory production plans and adjust operational activities by situation assessment according to available information and resources for optimum production.
∎ Control cost of production by efficient management of available resources as per standards and safeguarding quality and safety of people and products.
∎ Ensure product and process compliance as per Arla Global CoP.
∎ Ensure work place safety and adherence to the QEHS guidelines to all team members.
∎ Measure, analyze and control line performance, stoppages, labor efficiency and cost variance by using available systems / tools.
∎ Review process failures and execute continuous improvement by using necessary tools.
∎ Coordinate with other departments for production related activities viz. trials, new product development.
∎ Understanding the requirement of ISO 9001 & FSSC 22000 in FMCG factories and prepare accordingly.
∎ Ensure proper communication flow among Shift people by conducting a handover procedure.
∎ Prepare & Develop visual management in line (i.e. Pictorial SOPs) & train the team for proper execution.
∎ Ensure LOTO, Change management, PTW, RCA tools properly followed for task execution.
∎ Ensure Preventive maintenance by coordination with Engineering Department.
∎ Need to work in SAP process for Production Execution.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2 years’ experience in production or quality functions in Chemical/FMCG industry.
∎ Should have knowledge on specific product and technology know-how.
∎ Should have strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
∎ Understand Manufacturing , filling & packing operation and best practices associated with that.
∎ Sound technical knowledge is must to provide reasonable solution.
∎ Understand components of total cost of production and factors to influence it.
∎ Understand Food Safety & Hygiene. QMS, HACCP.
∎ Know relevant statutory, company and factory standards, rules and procedures
∎ Effective communication both verbal and written.
∎ Computer Knowledge (Specially on MS Excel, Power BI) to generate reports on need basis.
∎ Knowledge on AutoCAD tools.
