∎ Educational Requirement: Diploma in Food Technology
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct routine checks on raw rice, rice during processing, and finished rice products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
∎ Perform sensory evaluations (color, odor, texture) and physical tests (moisture content, grain length, purity, etc.) of rice samples.
∎ Monitor and record parameters such as moisture levels, temperature, and humidity throughout the rice milling process to prevent spoilage or deterioration.
∎ Ensure finished product quality as per company policy and time to time guidelines.
∎ Ensure that packaging materials, such as bags and labels, are consistent with specifications and meet industry regulations.
