Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Disaster Management, Gender Studies, Social Science or Development Studies (Master’s preferred).
Requirements: Skills Required: Additional Requirements: - Minimum 5 years’ experience in DRR, CCA, gender, inclusion, and community development projects.
- Proven leadership skills in supervising field teams and volunteers.
- Experience in Complaint Response Mechanism (CRM) management and GBV prevention.
- Strong understanding of community mobilization and participatory approaches.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and report-writing skills in Bangla and English.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate with local government and NGOs.
- Proficient in MS Office and digital monitoring tools.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and teamwork.
Responsibilities & Context: Responsible for:
- Lead and supervise Field Facilitators and Volunteers to ensure smooth and quality implementation of project interventions at the community level.
- Oversee and guide field activities under DRR, CCA, Inclusion, and GBV thematic areas.
- Establish and maintain a Complaint Response Mechanism (CRM) to ensure community accountability and transparency.
- Conduct community consultations, mobilization and awareness sessions on DRR, CCA, GBV prevention and safe sanitation.
- Facilitate formation and capacity development of community-based groups (Women’s Groups, Youth Groups and Polder Management Committees).
- Ensure inclusion of marginalized and vulnerable groups (women, youth, persons with disabilities, minorities) in all project activities.
- Conduct and facilitate training sessions on leadership, rights, governance and climate resilience.
- Empower and mentor women’s groups to take leadership roles in DRR, CCA and social governance.
- Monitor activity progress and quality in accordance with project plans and standards.
- Collect and analyze field data, maintain records and report key indicators to management.
- Liaise and coordinate with Union Parishads and other local stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports and case studies.
- Support evaluation activities, including baseline, midline, and endline studies.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or project management team.
Activities:
- Organize and facilitate community-level training on DRR, CCA, leadership, rights, and GBV prevention.
- Conduct regular monitoring of field interventions and submit feedback reports.
- Support community-led monitoring and feedback through CRM tools.
- Conduct awareness sessions on inclusion and women’s rights.
- Coordinate with local government and community leaders for effective project collaboration.
- Document and share success stories and lessons learned for organizational learning.
- Guide and mentor Field Facilitators and Volunteers to maintain quality and accountability.
