• Experience Requirement : At least 5 years’ management experiences in Development Organizations. Candidates with experience in similar programs will be given preference.

• • Minimum 5 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in MNCH or public health programs.

• • Experience working with NGOs or donor-funded projects, particularly in rural or hard-to-reach areas.

• • Strong understanding of MNCH concepts, national health systems, and community health approaches.

• • Proven leadership, team management, and coordination skills.

• • Strong monitoring, reporting, and documentation skills.

• • Good communication and facilitation skills.

• • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• • Fluency in Bangla; knowledge of local languages will be considered an advantage.

GRAUS is implementing a project titled “Momentum Integrated Health Resilience (MIHR)”, covering the period from May 2026 to April 2027, subject to the availability of funds. The project will be implemented in Khagrachari Hill District of the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT), Bangladesh, to improve the quality, coverage, and continuity of Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH) services across District Hospitals (DH), Upazila Health Complexes (UHC), and union-level facilities. This will be achieved by strengthening the capacity of service providers, enhancing facility readiness, and improving service coordination, with technical support from JSI Research and Training Institute, Inc. GRAUS intends to recruit a competent, experienced, and qualified Upazila Coordinator (UC) to lead and implement project interventions at the Upazila level.

Number of Position : 5 (Five)

Base Office : Upazila Health Complex, Khagrachari Sadar, Mahalchari, Dighinala, Matiranga and Laxichari Upazila.

Work Place : Upazila Health Complex, Upazila Family Planning Office, UH&FWC & Surjer Hashi Clinic Centre

Academic requirement : Master’s degree preferably in Social Sciences, Social Work, Nutrition, Public Health or relevant field

Key Responsibilities:

• • Coordinate and oversee the implementation of MIHR project activities at the Upazila level.

• • Develop monthly and quarterly work plans in line with project objectives and ensure their timely execution.

• • Supervise and support field staff (medical assistants, clinic managers, midwives, clinic aides, and community health workers) to ensure quality service delivery.

• • Work closely with government health systems, local government institutions, and community leaders to strengthen Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH) services.

• • Ensure effective outreach services in remote and hard-to-reach communities.

• • Maintain regular coordination with the Upazila Health Complex (UHC), local government authorities, and other relevant stakeholders.

• • Track progress against targets and indicators and take corrective actions when needed.

• • Ensure proper data collection, validation, and timely reporting (daily, weekly, and monthly).

• • Compile and submit progress reports to the District Coordinator.

• • Support monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) activities, including surveys and assessments.

• • Ensure proper use and management of project resources, logistics, and supplies.

• • Identify implementation challenges and propose practical solutions.

• • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and national health guidelines.

• • Support capacity building and on-the-job training of field staff.

• • Facilitate coordination meetings, review meetings, and stakeholder consultations at the Upazila level.

• • Ensure gender, inclusion, and protection considerations are integrated into all project activities.

• • Respond to emergencies and support rapid health interventions when required.
