• Experience Requirement : Minimum 2-3 years’ experiences in clinic or MNCH project.

• Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Prior experience working as a Medical Assistant or in MNCH-related projects will be preferred.

• Must have certification from a recognized medical assistant training program or an equivalent qualification.

• Basic understanding of patient care, medical terminology, and clinical procedures within the scope of a Medical Assistant’s role.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be an advantage.

• Ability to manage a complex and diverse workload effectively.

• Ability to contribute to a proactive team environment, working collaboratively and providing support as needed.

• Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, email, and web browsing.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and client service skills.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in both Bengali and English.

• Prior experience working with local communities in the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) will be considered an added advantage.

GRAUS is implementing a project titled “Momentum Integrated Health Resilience (MIHR)”, covering the period from May 2026 to April 2027, subject to the availability of funds. The project will be implemented in Khagrachari Hill District of the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT), Bangladesh, with the objective of improving the quality, coverage, and continuity of Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH) services across District Hospitals (DH), Upazila Health Complexes (UHC), and union-level facilities. This will be achieved by strengthening the capacity of service providers, enhancing facility readiness, and improving service coordination, with technical support from JSI Research and Training Institute, Inc. GRAUS intends to recruit a competent, experienced, and qualified Medical Assistant to support the delivery of quality MNCH services and contribute to effective implementation of project activities at the facility and community levels.

Work Place : Surjer Hasi Clinic centre & Union facility level

Key Job Responsibilities:

• • Support the delivery of essential Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH) services at both community and facility levels under the project.

• • Assist qualified clinicians and provide basic clinical care within the defined scope of practice.

• • Promote maternal and child health interventions and support community outreach activities, including data collection and reporting.

• • Obtain and accurately record patient medical histories, vital signs, test results, and other relevant information, ensuring strict confidentiality.

• • Coordinate daily administrative activities, including scheduling, patient registration (check-in and check-out), and maintenance of medical records.

• • Prepare treatment rooms for clinical examinations and assist healthcare providers during medical procedures and patient care.

• • Provide compassionate care, attention, and support to patients and their families.

• • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards applicable in Bangladesh.

• • Prepare and administer medications to patients as directed by physicians.
