• Age At most 35 years

• A minimum of 1/2 years’ experience in eye health or any other public health projects.

• Preferred age is up to 35 years; however, this may be relaxed for exceptionally qualified candidates.

• Strong communication skills in English and Bangla.

• Skilled in training facilitation and writing success stories.

• Must have a valid motorcycle driving license.

• Proficiency in MS Office application suite.

The incumbents will be responsible for implementing and monitoring SMC’s Vision Screening Project at the field level.

They will promote the use of reading glasses within the community by leveraging the technical expertise of Blue Star Providers (BSPs) in selected districts. In addition, they will coordinate field-level program activities to support the achievement of project goals and SMC’s broader objectives.

Program Officers will actively participate in the selection of Blue Star Providers for both basic and refresher training, aimed at building their capacity in vision screening and the distribution of reading glasses to targeted communities.

S/he will also conduct regular monitoring visits to BSP-outlets, provide on-site coaching, and oversee the distribution of reading glasses within their assigned areas.
