• Diploma in Midwifery
• SSC
• HSC

• Academic Background : Diploma in Midwifery (3 Years) or Junior Midwifery (18 Months), Registered with the Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC).

• Minimum SSC/HSC or equivalent qualification (science background preferred).

• At least 3 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

• Age At most 45 years

• Experiences requirement : Minimum 3 years of experience in clinics or MNCH projects.

• • Basic training in health assistance or community healthcare will be considered an advantage.

• • 3 years of experience in a clinic, hospital, or NGO health project is preferred.

• • Basic understanding of maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH) services.

• • Ability to measure basic vital signs is preferred.

• • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• • Ability to work in a team and follow instructions effectively.

• • Basic literacy and numeracy skills for record-keeping.

• • Fluency in Bangla; knowledge of local languages will be considered an added advantage.

GRAUS is implementing a project titled “Momentum Integrated Health Resilience (MIHR)”, covering the period from May 2026 to April 2027, subject to the availability of funds. The project will be implemented in Khagrachari Hill District of the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT), Bangladesh, to improve the quality, coverage, and continuity of Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH) services across District Hospitals (DH), Upazila Health Complexes (UHC), and union-level facilities. This will be achieved by strengthening the capacity of service providers, enhancing facility readiness, and improving service coordination, with technical support from JSI Research and Training Institute, Inc. GRAUS intends to recruit a competent, experienced, and qualified Clinic Aid to support the effective delivery of MNCH services and ensure smooth functioning of clinical and facility-level activities under the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the MNCH clinic or health facility.

• Support the clinic manager, medical assistant, and midwife during patient care and service delivery.

• Prepare consultation rooms, equipment, and supplies before and after patient visits.

• Register patients, maintain patient flow, and guide them to appropriate service points.

• Measure and record basic vital signs (e.g., weight, temperature, and blood pressure) as instructed.

• Support antenatal care (ANC), postnatal care (PNC), immunization, and child health services.

• Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the clinic, including waiting areas, consultation rooms, and equipment.

• Ensure infection prevention and control (IPC) practices are followed, including hand hygiene and safe waste disposal.

• Assist in the proper management and disposal of medical waste according to established guidelines.

• Support stock management by organizing medicines and supplies and reporting shortages.

• Assist in maintaining registers, logbooks, and basic documentation.

• Support outreach clinics and community health sessions when required.

• Provide basic information and guidance to patients regarding services and clinic procedures.

• Support health education and awareness activities at both facility and community levels.

• Ensure respectful, confidential, and patient-friendly service at all times.

• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors to ensure smooth clinic operations.
