Experience:
Academic Requirement : Bachelor/Masters in Commerce from any Public University.
Experiences : Minimum 5 years’ experiences of working as Accounts / Finance and Admin Officer under any private company or NGO.
Strong report writing and communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
Proficiency in computer applications in both English and Bangla, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated experience working as an Accounts/Finance and Administrative Officer in a development organization.
Prior experience working with local communities in the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) will be considered an added advantage.
GRAUS is implementing a project titled “Momentum Integrated Health Resilience (MIHR)”, covering the period from May 2026 to April 2027, subject to the availability of funds. The project will be implemented in Khagrachari Hill District of the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT), Bangladesh, to improve the quality, coverage, and continuity of Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH) services across District Hospitals (DH), Upazila Health Complexes (UHC), and union-level facilities. This will be achieved by strengthening the capacity of service providers, enhancing facility readiness, and improving service coordination, with technical support from JSI Research and Training Institute, Inc. GRAUS intends to recruit a competent, experienced, and qualified Finance Officer to manage financial operations, ensure compliance with donor and organizational requirements, and support the effective and accountable implementation of the project.

Key Job Responsibilities:
• Maintain cash books, ledgers, and other related books of accounts accurately.
• Prepare financial reports for the donor promptly.
• Verify vouchers and ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Maintain records of project assets, manage storekeeping, and ensure timely procurement and supply of logistics.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with organizational and donor policies and procedures within the financial management system.
• Review and support the preparation of event budgets, requisitions, and cash disbursements in line with organizational policies.
• Ensure proper filing, documentation, and preservation of all financial records as per organizational guidelines.
• Analyze project budgets and expenditures and regularly update the District Coordinator.
• Support administrative functions and report on administrative activities to the Program Manager on a regular basis.
