SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE:

• Proven experience in production planning, order analysis, and monitoring of end-to-end production processes to ensure timely delivery and quality standards

• Hands-on experience in quality assurance, raw material management, and minimizing rejection/alteration rates in production

• Demonstrated experience in team leadership, workforce recruitment, training, and supervision, including working with community artisans

• Experience in cross-functional coordination (design, production, quality, finance) along with reporting, market analysis, and performance monitoring

COMPETENCIES

• Excellent computer skills with all Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, Power Point, Excel)

Responsibilities & Context:

BRAC is an international development organisation founded in Bangladesh in 1972 that partners globally with over 100 million people living with inequality and poverty to create opportunities to realise their potential.

To ensure timely and quality production in the tailoring sections by implementing production plans, maintaining delivery schedules, and overseeing day-to-day operations through effective supervision and monitoring.

  • Analyze the order & sample and prepare loading plan.

  • Create effective production planning and monitor the production for timely delivery.

  • Ensure timely production as per required quality through proper supervision and monitoring.

  • Confirm receiving the quality raw materials and its’ proper utilization as per order.

  • Ensure products quality for minimizing cost and rejection/alteration rate during the production process.

  • Monitoring ‘Daily Production Report’ and communicate with the management.

  • Assist Management to recruit workers, train and retain the new and existing workers.

  • Providing strong leadership to the staffs at the section, ensuring high morale, team work and good employee relations.

  • To collect artisans from community as per target by moving door to door.

  • Coordinate with design, cutting, embroideries, quality control, and finance teams to ensure product quality and market alignment.

  • Maintain relationships with vendors, media partners, and promotional service providers.

  • Prepare regular reports on production, sales performance, marketing activities, and market intelligence.

  • Support monitoring, evaluation, and learning to improve production and marketing performance

  • Safeguarding

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
