Proficiency in: AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel (Budget tracking), Strong leadership & negotiation skills.
The Project Manager will lead and oversee all civil, electrical, lighting, plumbing, structural, finishing, and infrastructure development projects at Kazi Resort.
This role is responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to premium hospitality standards while ensuring compliance, safety, and quality execution.
The position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, vendor coordination, and financial control capabilities.
Core Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
•Develop master project timelines and Gantt charts
•Coordinate civil, MEP, electrical, and lighting contractors
•Ensure projects meet hospitality-grade finishing standards
•Monitor daily site activities
•Conduct weekly progress meetings
•Ensure adherence to BOQ and drawings
Civil & Structural Oversight
•Supervise structural works (foundation, columns, slabs, roofing)
•Monitor quality of concrete, steel, brickwork, finishing
•Ensure compliance with approved architectural drawings
•Coordinate with architects and structural consultants
Electrical & Lighting Management
•Oversee full electrical infrastructure (HT/LT panels, generators, load balancing)
•Supervise lighting design implementation (indoor + landscape lighting)
•Ensure energy-efficient planning (LED, smart systems)
•Monitor load calculations & safety compliance
•Coordinate with lighting designers for aesthetic execution
MEP & Utility Systems
•Oversee plumbing systems (water supply, drainage, STP)
•Manage HVAC installations
•Coordinate fire safety systems
•Supervise pump, filtration, and utility installations
Budget & Cost Control
•Prepare project cost estimates
•Monitor budget vs actual
•Approve contractor billing
•Negotiate vendor contracts
•Prevent cost overruns
Vendor & Contractor Management
•Shortlist and evaluate contractors
•Ensure milestone-based payments
•Conduct performance reviews
•Resolve disputes professionally
•Enforce penalty clauses when required
Quality Control
•Ensure resort-level finishing quality
•Conduct inspections before milestone approvals
•Create snag lists
•Ensure corrections before handover
Compliance & Safety
•Ensure all works comply with:
•Bangladesh Building Code
•Fire safety standards
•Electrical compliance
•Implement site safety protocols
•Conduct safety audits
Reporting & Documentation
•Submit weekly progress reports
•Present monthly project dashboard to management
•Maintain documentation:
