Responsibilities & Context:

A. KNOWLEDGE

Electrical Systems & Finishing Equipment

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and automation interfaces for finishing machines (cartoners, bundlers, conveyors, coders, checkweighers).

• Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and safe fault isolation techniques.

• Knowledge of scheduled maintenance practices for electrical components and machine controls.

Mechanical & Pneumatic Systems

• Sound knowledge of finishing equipment mechanics: timing chains, belts, feeders, rollers, bearings, cutter units, pneumatic actuators.

• Understanding of pneumatic logic, air quality standards, FRL units, and quick troubleshooting.

Utility Support Knowledge

• Basic understanding of AHU, chiller, compressor, HWG and WTP systems and their role in stable operations.

Safety & Compliance

• Strong knowledge of electrical safety, machine safety, LOTO, guarding protocols, and safe maintenance standards.

• Understanding of GMP requirements for maintaining hygiene and preventing contamination in finishing areas.

B. SKILLS & ABILITIES

Electrical Maintenance Execution

• Ability to ensure smooth day-to-day electrical operation of finishing equipment.

• Skilled in troubleshooting sensor faults, motor drive issues, wiring problems, and control panel failures.

• Ability to perform scheduled maintenance to reduce electrical breakdown recurrence.

Mechanical & Pneumatic Troubleshooting

• Ability to ensure smooth mechanical operation of finishing equipment and resolve issues such as jamming, misalignment, feed errors, and belt failures.

• Skilled in pneumatic troubleshooting related to cylinders, solenoids, air leakage, and pressure loss.

PM Execution & Reliability Support

• Competent in preventive maintenance execution, replacement of wear parts, lubrication, alignment checks, and condition monitoring.

• Ability to document work orders, PM completion, and breakdown history accurately.

Utilities Support

• Ability to support utilities maintenance activities (AHU, compressor, chiller, HWG, and WTP) when required.

• Diploma/Technical certification in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics preferred
