·         Lead and oversee the overall activities of the Engineering Division.

·         Plan, coordinate, supervise, and monitor construction and development projects from inception to completion.

·         Ensure projects are completed within approved time, cost, quality, and safety parameters.

·         Review and monitor structural, architectural, civil, and other engineering works in coordination with relevant consultants and project teams.

·         Supervise and guide Project Managers, Engineers, Site Engineers, and other technical personnel.

·         Ensure proper implementation of approved drawings, designs, specifications, BOQ, and construction methodologies.

·         Monitor project progress and identify potential delays, technical issues, and cost overruns, taking timely corrective measures.

·         Coordinate effectively with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, suppliers, government authorities, and other stakeholders.

·         Review contractors’ performance, work quality, resource deployment, and compliance with contractual requirements.

·         Ensure adherence to applicable building codes, construction standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

·         Participate in technical evaluation, tendering, contractor selection, and negotiation processes where required.

·         Review project budgets, estimates, variations, and cost-control measures.

·         Prepare and present regular project and engineering reports to the Management.

·         Provide technical recommendations and strategic advice to senior management regarding project development and construction matters.

·         Develop and implement effective systems and procedures for improving the efficiency and performance of the Engineering Division.

·         Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Management.

Required Skills & Competencies

·         Strong leadership and team-management capability.

·         Excellent knowledge of building construction, structural and civil engineering practices.

·         Strong project planning, monitoring, and execution skills.

·         Good understanding of BOQ, estimation, costing, tendering, contracts, and quality control.

·         Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

·         Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

·         Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.

·         Good command of English and Bangla, both written and verbal.

·         Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and relevant engineering/project management software.

·         Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

·         The candidate must possess the maturity and leadership capability required to manage a senior-level Engineering Division.

·         Experience in a reputed real estate development company will be considered an added advantage.
