Experience:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
• Diploma in Civil

• Diploma/B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline from a reputed institution/university.

• Candidates with relevant professional training in AutoCAD and Structural/Architectural Drafting will be preferred.

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Engineering Firms

• Age At least 22 years

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in Architectural/Structural Drafting.

• Freshers with strong technical skills and excellent AutoCAD knowledge may also be considered.

• Must have strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.

• Good knowledge of Architectural and Structural detailing.

• Practical understanding of RCC and Steel Structures will be an added advantage.

• Experience in Industrial/RMG Factory Building Design will be highly preferred.

• Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Lumion, V-Ray, Photoshop or other design/visualization software will be an added advantage.

• Ability to read and understand Architectural, Structural, MEP and construction drawings.

• Knowledge of relevant building codes, construction standards, and industrial compliance requirements will be preferred.

• Should have good knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.

• Strong communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.

• Must be detail-oriented with a strong sense of accuracy and responsibility.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

• Willingness to visit project sites when required.

Ecoray Sustainability & Design Limited (Ecoray Group) is a leading sustainability and design consultancy specializing in Industrial Building Design, Architectural & Structural Engineering, Green Building Certification, and Sustainable Building Solutions, particularly for the RMG and industrial sectors.

We are looking for a Jr. Drafting Engineer who will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed Architectural & Structural drawings for industrial, commercial, and residential projects. The candidate should have strong proficiency in AutoCAD and a good understanding of construction drawings, detailing, and coordination with multidisciplinary design teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop Architectural & Structural working drawings as per project requirements.

• Prepare detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, layouts, and construction details.

• Prepare RCC and Steel Structural drawings, including foundation, column, beam, slab, staircase, roof, and other structural details under the guidance of Structural Engineers.

• Prepare Authority/Approval Drawings for different government and regulatory organizations when required.

• Develop detailed construction drawings, and as-built drawings.

• Coordinate Architectural, Structural, MEP, Fire & HVAC drawings to identify and resolve design conflicts.

• Revise and update drawings based on engineer's instructions, client requirements, and site conditions.

• Prepare detailed drawings for industrial/RMG factories, commercial buildings, warehouses, and other projects.

• Ensure proper dimensions, annotations, scales, layers, title blocks, and drawing standards are maintained.

• Assist engineers and architects in preparing BOQ, schedules, drawing registers, and project documentation when required.

• Conduct site visits when necessary to understand existing conditions and incorporate site requirements into drawings.

• Maintain proper documentation and revision control of all drawings.

• Perform any other drafting and design-related tasks assigned by the Project/Design Team.
