Responsibilities & Context:

We are urgently looking for skilled and experienced project engineers (Civil) for our ongoing projects. candidates having prior working experience with Army/Navy/Air Force (MES) project will be given strong preference.

Applicants Must have sound knowledge and hands-on experience in MES-related billing and documentation procedures.

  • Plan, supervise, and execute civil construction and factory infrastructure projects from inception to completion.

  • Prepare comprehensive project schedules, work breakdown structures, and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are strictly met.

  • Support factory expansion, renovation, and structural development projects seamlessly without disrupting daily operations.

  • Review architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings with a high level of AutoCAD experience.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve technical issues proactively.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate as-built drawings and project documentation.

  • Prepare detailed BOQ (Bill of Quantities), cost estimates, and project budgets.

  • Monitor resource utilization, material consumption, and project expenditures to ensure cost-efficiency.

  • Inspect construction materials and workmanship rigorously to maintain the highest quality standards.

  • Monitor all construction activities to ensure strict compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and engineering standards.

  • Ensure absolute compliance with the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC), local regulatory frameworks, and international compliance standards.

  • Ensure effective implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements across all work zones.

  • Ensure proper, routine maintenance of factory buildings, internal roads, drainage systems, and overall civil infrastructure.

  • Coordinate effectively with internal management, external contractors, consultants, and relevant project stakeholders.

  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports to management.

  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.

  • 2–5 years of relevant practical experience in civil construction, industrial/factory projects, RCC structures or building construction.

  • Experience in ETP, STP, WTP, wastewater-treatment plants, water-retaining structures or industrial utility projects will be strongly preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret civil, structural and architectural drawings.

  • Ability to prepare and verify BOQ, estimates, quantity calculations and project schedules.

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office, particularly Excel.

  • Knowledge of construction quality-control procedures.

  • Supervise and monitor all civil construction activities related to the 60 m³/hr ETP and 2 m³/hr STP project.

  • Supervise construction of RCC treatment tanks, collection/equalization tanks, foundations, equipment bases, pump/blower foundations, pipe supports, trenches, drains, walkways and other associated civil structures.

  • Review approved civil, structural and architectural drawings before execution.

  • Coordinate water-tightness/leakage testing of ETP and STP tanks before commissioning.

  • Monitor contractors, subcontractors, masons, technicians and suppliers and ensure required quality and timely completion of work.

  • Measure completed work quantities and verify contractor bills against actual site progress and approved BOQ.

  • Coordinate with Engineering, Production, EHS, Administration and other concerned departments during project execution.

  • Maintain daily progress reports, inspection records, drawings, measurements, test reports and project documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable BNBC, RSC, EHS, environmental and company safety requirements.

  • Support testing, inspection, handover and commissioning activities after completion of civil construction.

  • Supervise other factory civil construction, renovation, repair and maintenance works as assigned by management.
