• Strong hands-on experience with Modbus RTU/TCP and RS-485.

• Experience with industrial gateways, PLCs, I/O modules and industrial networking.

• Experience integrating energy meters, sensors, VFDs, inverters or industrial equipment.

• Understanding of Edge Computing and IoT data acquisition.

• Ability to read electrical SLDs and understand MDB/DB electrical architecture.

• Experience in factory or industrial environments is strongly preferred.

• Hands-on troubleshooting and commissioning experience is essential.

Preferred Experience

Experience with Schneider Electric, Siemens, ABB or similar industrial systems, SCADA/EMS platforms, MQTT/OPC-UA, solar inverter integration, generator/ATS integration, industrial cybersecurity, remote monitoring or multi-site systems will be an advantage.

• Design Industrial IoT architecture for factory energy and electrical safety monitoring.

• Integrate power meters, PQ meters, sensors, PLCs, breakers, solar inverters and generator controllers.

• Configure and troubleshoot Modbus RTU/TCP, RS-485, TCP/IP, MQTT and industrial communication networks.

• Select and configure Industrial IoT Gateways, Edge devices, I/O modules and communication equipment.

• Develop device connectivity and data acquisition architecture from field equipment to Edge/Cloud.

• Work with multiple hardware brands and Modbus register maps.

• Support breaker status monitoring and secure remote OPEN/TRIP interfaces.

• Design reliable communication architecture using Ethernet/Fiber/Industrial Network infrastructure.

• Coordinate with electrical engineers and software developers for end-to-end system integration.

• Conduct site surveys, device mapping, point mapping, testing and commissioning.

• Prepare technical documentation, I/O lists, communication diagrams and device integration specifications.

• Support development of a reusable, vendor-neutral Acote Industrial IoT architecture for future factory projects.
