• Must have a minimum 2-5 years of work experience with a strong focus on estimating and costing within the construction industry.

• Skills Required: MS Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/ OneNote, Civil Engineering, Civil Construction, Documentation and Presentation, Construction Estimating, AutoCAD presentation Experience·

• Familiar with Bangladesh National Building Code guidelines.

• Building construction, special knowledge about finishing work and handling.

Construction Project Engineer will be a professional who oversees our construction projects from start to finish. They will responsible for planning, organizing, and managing resources to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Applications are invited from the deserving candidates for this position.

• Prepare cost estimates for materials, equipment, or labor to determine a project's economic feasibility. Manage construction labor and contractors and other finishing work.

• Should have sound knowledge in Landscaping project, project management systems of Residential & high-rise buildings having multiple experience, Interior work, steel structure work, wooden work, safety security.

• Conduct thorough rate analysis for various construction activities, evaluating labor, material, and overhead costs to determine competitive rates and ensure cost-effectiveness in project execution within project budgets and profitability targets.

• Prepare report on progress of construction work under concerned project weekly/daily basis.

• Quality control of construction material ensuring wastage control during work & stacking materials.

• Identify opportunities for cost savings and value adding engineering.        

• Assess and quantify project risks related to cost, schedule, and scope, and incorporate risk allowances.        

• Obtain competitive pricing and quotations from suppliers, subcontractors, and other relevant stakeholders.        

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis.      

• Maintain detailed records of quantities, costs, and other relevant data of works, correspondence, preparing reports, and presentations as required for management review and decision-making.        

• To prepare contractor bill as per quality of completed works as terms and condition of work order (W.O) & Prepare work billing measurement sheet, submit interim payment application, and interim payment certificate throughout the construction phase.       

• Prepare financial claims, extension of time and engineer's instructions for variations, cost proposals related to changes in project scope, drawings, and specifications from contract documents.        

• Collaborate with site construction teams to finalize and certify the actual physical work done at the site to facilitate subcontractor payments. 

• Verifying all kinds of contractor & supplier bill. Ensuring TBM details briefing before starting the work, safety training, monitoring all types of cleaning & curing works, optimum use of construction material and others.      

• Understanding 2D/3D Design, Elevation and Section, with details working drawing.
