Experience:

• 5 to 8 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Cement Industry

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering from a recognized institute or university.

Additional training or certification in automobile maintenance or transport management will be considered an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repair procedures.

• Ability to lead and manage workshop staff effectively.

• Good understanding of transport safety regulations and compliance requirements.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergency vehicle breakdown situations.

• Good communication and reporting skills.

• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, email) will be an advantage.

1.    Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all RTD vehicles.

2.    Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

3.    Ensure the roadworthiness, safety, and statutory compliance of all vehicles.

4.    Supervise repair and maintenance activities to ensure quality workmanship and long-term durability.

5.    Lead and monitor the daily activities of workshop technicians and support staff.

6.    Ensure the timely completion of servicing and repair works in accordance with the established maintenance schedules.

7.    Coordinate with RTD Operations to ensure the availability of vehicles for timely dispatch.

8.    Prioritize maintenance tasks based on operational urgency and delivery requirements.

9.    Provide support in handling emergency breakdowns to minimize operational disruptions.

10. Monitor maintenance costs and spare parts consumption to ensure cost efficiency.

11. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards, including the proper use of PPE.

12. Maintain accurate service records and support audits, inspections, and reporting requirements.
