Experience:
B.Sc. in Agricultural Science ( Agriculture, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry), Development Studies, Economics, Rural Development, or any other relevant discipline from any UGC approved recognized university or institute.

The Project Manager will lead initiatives to strengthen local supply chains, improve agricultural practices, and enhance market linkages for smallholder farmers. This role involves managing community-based structures and ensuring timely delivery of fresh food, including paddy, to designated outlets and local markets. The position ensures effective operation of aggregation centers, community grain storage facilities, EFSN shops, and Agri-Business Service Centers (ABSC), while maintaining compliance with organizational and donor requirements.
Project Planning and Implementation
Plan, coordinate, and oversee livelihood and market linkage activities in line with approved project proposals and workplans.
Oversee aggregation centers, community grain storage, EFSN shops, and Agri-Business Service Centers (ABSC).
Ensure timely production, aggregation, and supply of fresh food to FFC/E-voucher shops and local markets.
Community Institutions and Market Systems Strengthening
Facilitate and strengthen Apex Committees, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Village Savings and Loan Schemes (VSLS), and Farmers Field Schools (FFS).
Strengthen local supply chains to ensure fresh food production and supply to FFC/E-voucher shops in refugee camps.
Support business development initiatives for aggregation centers and SHGs to improve sustainability and profitability.
Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement
Coordinate with private and public agencies to ensure input support.
Initiate and introduce business opportunities for aggregation centers and SHGs.
Maintain regular coordination with humanitarian actors and HCMP sectors to ensure programme synergy.
Facilitate donor visits, represent the project in coordination meetings, and support external communications.
Team Management, Monitoring, and Reporting
Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with organizational and donor standards.
Provide leadership, capacity building, guidance, and supervision to project staff.
Prepare and submit timely progress reports, financial summaries, and documentation for internal and donor use.
Safeguarding
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
