Responsibilities & Context:

BRAC is an international development organisation founded in Bangladesh in 1972 that partners globally with over 100 million people living with inequality and poverty to create opportunities to realise their potential.

This position will be responsible for overseeing the daily outreach activities, Monitor & training the outreach to build their capacity through which they can apply it to engage & aware of the large amount of community people on different protection issues.

  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of all databases and records,updating information regularly as per organizational requirements.

  • Organize and coordinate meetings, activities, and related documentation,ensuring smooth communication and proper record-keeping.

  • Conduct regular field visits to community outreach sites,to monitor activities and ensure quality service delivery.

  • Supervise and support outreach staff during field activities, providing guidance to improve performance and effectiveness.

  • Oversee daily outreach operations,ensuring alignment with the organization’s outreach strategy.

  • Implement outreach plans and strategies effectively,to maximize engagement and impact within the community.

  • Carry out outreach activities such as establishing community contacts,and participating in community meetings.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community members,enhancing trust and cooperation.

  • Monitor outreach performance and provide feedback to staff,ensuring continuous improvement in service delivery.

  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of outreach activities,maintaining organized and up-to-date records.

  • Support coordination between outreach teams and other stakeholders,to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

  • Identify community needs and provide inputs for improving outreach programs,contributing to better planning and implementation.

Safeguarding:

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
