Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Arranging and managing enough Linking & Trimming Operator to match production flow with knitting output of 800 auto knitting (Shima Seki) machine.
∎ Managing overall production of linking & finishing related activities, monitoring and shipment in Sweater Factory.
∎ Sound knowledge and skill on yarn, Knitting, Linking and finishing technical issue.
∎ Managing production department and implementing processes to improve efficiency.
∎ Detail experience on knitting & linking techniques to assure correct fit management.
∎ Identify causes and actionable steps to improve production.
∎ Must have work study experiences; manage accurate machine layout, Time and Motion Study and SMV etc.
∎ Drive machine maintenance team to have most suitable machine ready prior to Production.
∎ Ensure shipments with zero defects as per the buyer’s instruction.·
∎ Clear knowledge on IE Layout, IE target, Efficiency and SMV.
∎ Liaise with buyers on compliance, technical, quality management, audit and final inspection.
∎ Have sufficient knowledge of production cost calculation·
∎ Responsible for driving the production plan.
∎ Responsible for achieving daily targets set by the Industrial Engineer (IE).
∎ Train, motivate & supervise the Production team to meet the objectives.
∎ Responsible for solving technical issues faced in manufacturing areas. This may include finding root cause lying in Pre-production activities to Postproduction activities.
∎ Should co-ordinate with Merchandising, technical and Quality teams to achieve the set goals of Production, Quality and timely Shipments.
∎ The Production Manager (P2P) will be responsible for execute production from Linking to Finishing with related works to complete shipment in line with daily target with cost saving manner as per booking from Planning and time study of Industrial Engineering. The candidate should have below strength, experience, and capacity to perform this position.
