Responsibilities & Context: Job Location: Factory at Kaliakoir, Gazipur Responsibilities: Support the Head of Merchandising in developing and executing merchandising strategies to achieve business objectives, customer satisfaction, and profitability targets. Manage buyer communication and ensure smooth coordination throughout the product development and production cycle. Handle product development activities, including sample development, sample review, costing, order follow-up, and production coordination. Coordinate with Design, Development, Planning, Production, Quality, IE, and other relevant departments to ensure timely execution of orders. Follow up on order status, production progress, quality requirements, shipment schedules, and delivery commitments. Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams regarding raw materials, accessories, samples, and other production requirements. Review buyer requirements, technical specifications, comments, and approvals and ensure proper implementation by the relevant teams. Monitor order profitability, costing, consumption, production progress, and delivery performance. Identify potential production, quality, material, and delivery issues and take proactive measures to resolve them. Prepare regular reports, order status updates, production follow-up reports, and presentations for Management. Maintain strong professional relationships with buyers and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Stay updated on market trends, buyer requirements, product developments, and industry practices. Provide guidance, support, and mentoring to junior merchandising team members to improve their skills and performance. Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Head of Merchandising and Management. Experience: 10–15 years of relevant experience in merchandising. Must have substantial experience in the sweater manufacturing business. Experience in handling buyer communication, product development, order execution, production follow-up, and delivery coordination is highly preferred. Candidates with strong experience in a sweater factory will be given preference. Age: Age will be considered based on qualifications and relevant experience. Gender: Male.
