Responsibilities & Context: Job Location: Factory, Kaliakoir, Gazipur Responsibilities: Lead and manage production planning and coordination for a sweater manufacturing unit equipped with approximately 800 computerized/auto knitting machines, ensuring optimum utilization of production capacity, manpower, and machinery. Prepare and monitor production plans in line with customer requirements, production capacity, and delivery schedules. Prepare machine-loading plans based on available capacity, machine capability, and production requirements. Closely monitor the implementation of production plans and ensure operations remain aligned with the approved production schedule. Forecast and plan the timely in-house availability of yarn, accessories, and other raw materials required to meet production targets. Monitor the overall production status and provide timely and accurate updates to Management and relevant departments. Coordinate closely with Production, Merchandising, Marketing, Industrial Engineering (IE), Quality, and other relevant departments to ensure on-time delivery. Analyze production capacity, machine utilization, manpower requirements, and production performance to identify potential bottlenecks and improvement opportunities. Support efficiency improvement, process optimization, cost reduction, automation, and other relevant projects from initiation through completion. Prepare regular reports and presentations for Management regarding production plans, capacity utilization, achievement, delays, and corrective actions. Ensure timely follow-up of action plans and resolve production planning-related issues in coordination with concerned departments. Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Department Head and Management. Experience: 5–7 years of relevant experience in production planning, supply chain, or operations. Experience in garment or sweater manufacturing is highly preferred. Proven experience in production scheduling, machine loading, capacity planning, and cross-functional coordination. Age: 30–45 years. Gender: Male.
