• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Meat Science,Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization

• Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, waste reduction, and cost-effectiveness

• Ensure timely production and delivery of meat products as per quality and safety standards

• Ensure all meat processing activities comply with FDA, USDA, HACCP, OSHA, and other regulatory standards

• Implement and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs)

• Conduct regular quality checks and audits to maintain product consistency and safety

• Supervise and train production staff, including butchers, machine operators, and packaging personnel

• Foster a safe and productive work environment, ensuring adherence to company policies

• Schedule shifts, manage workloads, and resolve personnel issues in coordination with HR

• Identify bottlenecks in production and implement process improvements

• Work with the maintenance team to ensure equipment is functioning optimally

• Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives

• Enforce strict hygiene and sanitation protocols to prevent contamination

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations to minimize accidents

• Conduct safety training and emergency preparedness drills

• Monitor raw material (meat, packaging, etc.) inventory and coordinate with procurement

• Ensure proper storage and handling of meat products to prevent spoilage

• Liaise with logistics for timely dispatch of finished goods

• Maintain accurate production records, including yields, waste, and downtime

• Prepare reports on production metrics, efficiency, and compliance for senior management

• Ensure traceability of products as per food safety regulations
