∎ B.Sc. in Industrial and production engineering (IPE) from any reputed university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 10 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Responsible for implementation of production process and procedures, leading productivity improvements with project-based activities, and manufacturing cell design to reduce waste, improve quality and safety, and reduce operating costs. Manage KPIs and ensure preventive actions are taken to maximize success. Work in a labor-intensive production environment, and American Factory Manager and Japanese team reviewed project milestones.
∎ Job Location: Chattogram Export Processing Zone, Chattogram
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The candidate will be responsible for making an effective monthly Production plan/ Advance plan of the orders in consultation and coordination Production head, as per set scheduling.
∎ Reviewing Production schedule with capacity and strength along with ensuring timely shipment through strong production follow-up.
∎ Order status monitoring & regularly scheduled meetings with the Production department for order planning & proper line allocation/output of prod.
∎ Ensure accurate & optimal capacity planning while ensuring cost reduction & increased profitability.
∎ Always be updated on production status, whether it is meeting the Production plan or not; if not, then make a root cause analysis and give a quick solution for a smooth operation.
∎ Highlight production anomalies & suggest necessary steps to concern management.
∎ Building relationships with each department & Production people (in every department) for smooth operation.
∎ Must be fluent in making daily and monthly production planning spreadsheets.
∎ Coordinate different departments to work along with each other to ensure good work according to proper planning.
∎ Create a production schedule.
∎ Production process and quality understand
∎ Ability to train new employees.
∎ Reduce variability in manufacturing by providing standard work methods and work instructions
∎ Any other responsibilities assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Engineering Firms, and Manufacturing (FMCG).
∎ Well capable of Planning, Organizing, Staffing, Leading and Controlling Capabilities.
∎ Good interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills in English.
∎ Should be knowledgeable in all types of production costing
∎ Ability to effectively handle multiple simultaneous tasks.
