∎ To strengthen our continuous business growth ambition in Bangladesh, Arla Foods is currently looking for an analytical and strategic individual for the position of Production Manager.
∎ Job Location: Packaging Plant - Konabari, Gazipur

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Run FMCG/Processing Plant with clear understanding of process time cycle.
∎ Adhering Arla safety guideline for ensuring employee safety.
∎ Prepare daily/weekly production plan liaison with supply chain as per MPQ of a processing line.
∎ Need to have a clear understanding how a processing unit works with process time cycle, technical calculations understanding such as Heat transfer, mass transfer & Thermodynamics in a process operation.
∎ Implement Arla COP for Safety, Quality , Hygiene and asset management.
∎ Lead a team to run a full fledge processing/production lines in all shifts.
∎ Resource management and daily manpower planning to run the production within target Manhour per MT.
∎ Drive productivity and efficiency by reducing the line stoppages (Planned , unplanned)
∎ Lead the installation and commissioning of capacity extension project, as and when needed.
∎ Lead cost savings project to achieve the targeted yearly savings cost.
∎ Departmental budget preparation and plan expenditure within targeted cost.
∎ Develop visual training module for the designated work place in the production line to ensure smooth operation and development of skills.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Daily Production operation, planning, internal and external stake holder management. Understanding on KPI's, SMART objectives and performance management system.
∎ Strong knowledge of GMP , Hygiene, HACCP , Food Safety , Production Planning.
∎ Experience in installation and commissioning of machinaries in FMCG/Milk Processing/UHT Processing.
∎ Understand the principle of SAP & PLC operation and experience on working with them.
∎ Strong Interpersonal skill - ability to maneuver communication style based on stakeholder, surroundings and purpose.
∎ Strategic & efficient thinking, open mindset, agility and strong leadership skill, quick decision making ability is highly required.
∎ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bangla.
∎ Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
∎ Highly driven by purpose and sustainability agenda.
∎ Minimum 7+ years of experience in FMCG production unit along with at least 1-2 year as Production Manager Role.
