∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Pattern making, fabric consumption, and marker making in CAD (AutoCAD software)
∎ To be able to prepare a pattern from a given design/model (knit, woven, and denim),
∎ Ensuring that fabrics, thread, and trimmings are available to produce a sample garment.
∎ Making a daily sample production plan and setting daily production targets for each sample operator.
∎ Plotting patterns (for sample room requirements), subsequently preparing markers for cutting and sampling within the time frame to facilitate the sample and cutting processes
∎ Responsible for all kinds of sample making, correction and measurement chart preparation, and grading accordingly.
∎ Ensure cost reduction by achieving optimum efficiency in CAD and making hundred percent accurate markers.
∎ Communicate and coordinate with the associates (fashion designers, sample makers, cutters, merchandisers, technicians, and seniors) and suppliers to reach the best consumption with quality and efficiency.
∎ Support and advise the team/factories to find the best solution to reduce fabric waste and achieve maximum fabric use.
∎ Having technical knowledge of making sample garments in a realistic and functional way
∎ Recording the daily output of each sample man and the total sample room's output.
∎ Maintaining records of pattern sets.
∎ Provide technical advice in machine requirements, pattern making, fitting, and garment construction before sample delivery (perform sample inspection).
∎ Making Counter, Size Set, Revised Size Set, PPS garment checking (workmanship), confection card checking, PPS fabric checking, revised PPS, Bulk Size Set
∎ Supervised and evaluated operator performance, ensuring floor discipline.
∎ Planning and organizing all sample schedules
∎ Establishing and maintaining operational guidelines, procedures, and practices
∎ The necessary initiative has to be taken in order to achieve the daily and monthly planned targets.
∎ Ensuring cost reduction by reducing all kinds of process losses and waste, like rejection,
∎ On-time sample making
∎ Carrying out any other jobs assigned from time to time.
∎ Determining quality control standards
∎ Any other job as assigned by the management from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Auto CAD, Cad Pattern Master, Sample, Efficient marker making capacity.
∎ Certification course on CAD & Graphic design related discipline is highly encouraged.
∎ Good numeracy and analytical skills.
∎ Good commination skill.
∎ Ability to work under pressure & challenges.
∎ Computer literacy with efficient operational experience.
