∎ Familiar with brick types (concrete) & local supplier networks
∎ Fluent in English for effective communication with international teams.
∎ Flexible to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
∎ Must demonstrate strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude to take initiative and address operational needs independently.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Coordinate the completion of all legal documentation related to factory setup, land use, environmental clearances, business registration, and licenses
∎ Work with legal advisors, consultants, and local authorities to ensure full compliance with government regulations and industry standards
∎ Identify, evaluate, and select appropriate brick-making machinery and supporting equipment based on production requirements and budget
∎ Liaise with equipment manufacturers to negotiate pricing, warranties, and delivery schedule
∎ Ensure timely procurement, transportation, and installation readiness of all machines
∎ Supervise construction of technical civil structure for production site.
∎ Supervise installation and commissioning of all machinery and infrastructure
∎ Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers
∎ Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of the initial production team
∎ Develop clear, efficient Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all processes
∎ Oversee machine operations, curing processes, stacking, and inventory handling
∎ Monitor production targets and quality benchmarks
∎ Source and negotiate with suppliers of raw materials (cement, sand, stone, etc.)
∎ Supervise logistics for both raw material intake and finished product dispatch
∎ Establish and enforce quality control procedures for brick production
∎ Address any production issues, material inconsistencies, or customer complaints
∎ Check daily and weekly reports on production output, efficiency, and workforce performance
∎ Serve as the main communication link between factory operations and company leadership
∎ Identify and recommend strategic improvements in cost control, workflow, and output scalability
∎ Role Summary:
∎ We are launching an eco-friendly concrete brick and block making factory, and we are seeking a driven and experienced Operations Manager to lead this project from the ground up. This individual will be responsible for planning, launching, and overseeing the daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and sustainability across all production stages.
