Educational Requirements:
∎ BSC in IPE/Apparel Manufacturing/Textile Engineering / Post-graduation/Graduation in any other discipline

Experience Requirements:
∎ 12 to 15 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead a team of IE officers involved in knitting, dyeing, cutting, sewing and finishing; maintain their responsibility (to-do-list), daily reports of quality, production, lost time records and efficiency.
∎ Prepare analysis report on poor performance in quality and productivity and periodically report to respective HODs and TOP Management (MD/Director).
∎ Co-ordinate with planning section and follow up allocation of similar styles, capacity plan, line plan and factory monthly plan based on the history of style performances and factory efficiency.
∎ Ensure maintaining day to day line balancing/bottleneck operation identifying and eradicating NPT issues.
∎ Take part in department wise manpower requirement rationalization based on target strength ratio.
∎ Confirm operation Bulletin (OB) for each style timely.
∎ Prepare lay out for every style, evaluate existing production target and fix daily new production target.
∎ Estimate CMT based on style performance and quantity to assist merchandising team.
∎ Assign people, prepare shifting and roistering of them for effective monitoring system at all production units.
∎ Prepare thread consumption chart and co-coordinating with merchant team for thread purchase.
∎ Be responsible for improvement of efficiency and quality of fabrics and garments production.
∎ Ensure traffic Light system based follow up and instant monitoring & on-time inputs to sewing lines.
∎ Be in process of regular research on motion study for method improvement and implement better system to eliminate excess motions.
∎ Ensure daily Forecast meeting on floor wise quality and productivity position and take CAP.
∎ Estimate line capacity for all new development styles based on garment sketch or samples.
∎ Plan, participate and follow up floor training to improve skills of manpower through multi-skills program.
∎ Confirm Floor wise BRT based on quality faults & top defects and monitoring the BRT progress.
∎ Ensure line and floor wise daily efficiency and achievement report based on target.
∎ Implement process wise operators' performance evaluation.
∎ Analyze hourly production process gap and balancing.
∎ Monitoring weekly performance report of individuals and conduct meeting to improve their performance.
∎ Track skill inventory of operators
∎ Conduct research and development for samples prior to production starts.
∎ Guide and Co-ordinate with planning section for allocation of similar styles, capacity plan, line plan and factory monthly plan based on the history of line and factory efficiency.
∎ Efficiently maintain the conveyer belt system based in JIT (Juts in Time) lines.
∎ Ensure NPT (Non-Productive Time), check SMED (Single minutes Exchange of Dies) and work to improve cycle time of production processes.
∎ Confirm line feeding report.
∎ Prepare section wise KPIs based monthly progress report productivity and quality.
∎ Modify and Implement SOPs for productivity and quality improvement.
∎ Actively handle the running and upcoming Productivity improvement projects i.e. GEP (Global Efficiency Project) with brands and maintain necessary coordinating tasks.
∎ Train and assist in method improvement and effective line balancing.
∎ Monitor floor effectiveness of IE activity and assist in settling down emerging issues thru coordinating with sectional responsible persons.
∎ Apply production process maintain RFT (Right First Time) level.
∎ Confirm maintaining the WIP (Work in Progress) in different processes of production Units.
∎ Coordinate among the production and quality departments to collect necessary production and quality information for analysis.
∎ Conduct departmental team meeting and preparing meeting AGENDA.
∎ Actively take part with ERP section in developing and modifying IE related modules as per company's demand.
∎ Be responsive to any other responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 12-15 years (Experience may be considered for well deserving candidate)
∎ Applicant must have proven experience of at least 7-10 years in managerial positions in any similar industry.
∎ Applicants serving in Knit Garments industry will be given preference.
∎ Must be smart, intelligent, dedicated and enriched with moral characteristics.
∎ Must have standard level of English language proficiency in writing and speaking.
