Responsibilities & Context:

- Lead the entire textile operations including Knitting, Dyeing, AOP, Printing, Finishing, and Utilities to achieve production targets.

- Monitor daily output and ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw materials.

- Oversee line balancing, WIP management, and machine efficiency improvements across all units.

- Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with order forecasts, buyer demand, and corporate goals.

- Drive capacity planning and recommend capex for expansion or technological upgrades.

- Analyze market trends and advise management on product innovation and cost optimization opportunities.

- Ensure robust quality assurance protocols in coordination with QA Head.

- Align production processes with buyer standards, RSC/NIRAPON/SEDEX/WRAP compliance, and environmental norms.

- Champion a culture of continuous improvement (Kaizen, 5S, Lean practices).

- Lead, coach, and mentor a cross-functional team of 1000+ employees across the textile division.

- Coordinate with HR for performance management, skill development, and succession planning for critical roles.

- Drive accountability through KPI-driven performance culture.

- Work closely with Merchandising, Planning, Compliance, Commercial, and HR to ensure aligned execution.

- Engage with the IT/ERP team to improve real-time production tracking and digitization.

- Represent the textile division in management review meetings.

- Interface with buyers (as required) during factory evaluations, onboarding, or troubleshooting.

- Act as escalation point for interdepartmental and buyer-related issues.
