Key Responsibilities

1. Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and emergency medical care to employees.

• Diagnose and treat minor illnesses and injuries.

• Refer serious cases to appropriate hospitals or specialists.

• Maintain medical records and ensure confidentiality.

2. Occupational Health & Safety

• Conduct pre-employment and periodic medical examinations.

• Monitor workplace hazards and recommend preventive measures.

• Participate in safety audits and risk assessments.

• Ensure compliance with occupational health laws and company policies.

3. Emergency Preparedness

• Develop and implement emergency medical response plans.

• Coordinate with nearby hospitals and emergency services.

• Train staff in first aid, CPR, and basic life support.

4. Health Promotion & Wellness

• Organize health awareness campaigns (e.g., hygiene, stress management).

• Conduct vaccination drives and health screening programs.

• Provide counseling on lifestyle-related health issues.

5. Administrative Duties

• Maintain medical inventory and ensure availability of medicines and equipment.

• Prepare medical reports and statutory documentation.

• Advise management on workplace health policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS degree from a recognized institution.

• Valid medical license to practice.

• Certification in Occupational Health (preferred).

• 2–5 years of clinical or industrial experience (preferred).

• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
