Education:
B.Sc. in Engineering (EEE/Mechanical/IPE/Civil/Environmental) or any other Applied Sciences discipline from a recognized institution.

Additional Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational safety, fire safety related work/operations with supervisory skills are required in Garments Industries.
OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO, Safety related national/international courses is preferable.
Responsibilities & Context:
Ensure and monitor the overall safety measures of the staff and assets of the organization.
Guide, monitor and create awareness among all staff about occupational health and safety.
Enhance efficiency, develop fire safety operations team skills aligned with BRAC values.
Ensure staff are spontaneously engaged in occupational health safety and fire safety in all establishments.
Coordinate with concerned departments/Aarong outlets/Emergency Response Team / Fire Safety & Civil Defence / RAJUK etc. to ensure workplace safety and safe exit.
Ensure all safety-related equipment is well-maintained and functioning error-free across all BRAC-Aarong establishments.
Confirm the timely maintenance of firefighting equipment and maintain accurate records of inspections.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation.
Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so
