Job Summary:
The Management Trainee Officer (MTO) – Civil will support the Internal Audit Department in conducting inspections, verification activities, documentation reviews, and site observations related to factory buildings and civil infrastructure. The incumbent will assist in collecting information, validating records, preparing reports, conducting physical inspections, and supporting audit assignments across the organization. This position is intended to develop analytical, reporting, inspection, and coordination skills within a large-scale manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in conducting inspections and physical verification of factory buildings, roads, drainage systems, boundary walls, rooftops, and other civil infrastructure.
Conduct site visits and field observations to verify the status and condition of civil facilities and infrastructure.
Review engineering drawings, maintenance records, work orders, reports, invoices, and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
Assist in collecting, organizing, and maintaining records, photographs, inspection notes, and supporting documents required for audit assignments.
Verify reported maintenance, renovation, and construction activities through site inspections and document reviews.
Identify discrepancies, incomplete records, or inconsistencies during inspections and report findings to supervisors.
Assist in preparing inspection reports, verification reports, summaries, presentations, and other management reports as required.
Follow up on action plans and provide updates regarding the implementation status of observations raised during inspections.
Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, Administration, Production, Compliance, and other departments to obtain information and documentation required for assigned tasks.
Maintain proper filing and record management of inspection reports, supporting documents, photographs, and related records.
Support special assignments, investigations, surveys, and data collection activities as directed by management.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and professional standards while performing assigned responsibilities.
Perform any other assignments delegated by management from time to time.
