Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee daily operations of mobile production teams, ensuring tasks are performed according to schedule and meet the required quality standards.
∎ Monitor production output and adjust processes to improve efficiency and minimize downtime.
∎ Ensure adherence to production plans and schedules.
∎ Supervise, train, and motivate a team of mobile production workers, ensuring they are well-equipped and skilled to perform tasks.
∎ Assign tasks and responsibilities based on workers' abilities and experience.
∎ Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and resolve personnel issues as needed.
∎ Maintain quality control standards by ensuring that the products produced meet safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
∎ Conduct regular inspections of equipment, materials, and finished products to identify any defects or issues.
∎ Implement corrective actions when quality standards are not met.
∎ Enforce strict safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure that the team follows health and safety guidelines.
∎ Ensure all equipment and production processes are in compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
∎ Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.
∎ Ensure the efficient use of materials, tools, and resources required for production.
∎ Monitor and manage inventory levels, making sure that sufficient supplies are available for production without excessive waste.
∎ Coordinate with other departments (e.g., SCM, maintenance, process development, R&D, QC ) to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
∎ Ensure that production equipment is in good working condition and properly maintained.
∎ Coordinate with maintenance teams to perform routine checks, preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise.
∎ Maintain records of equipment repairs and performance.
∎ Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, efficiency, waste, and downtime.
∎ Prepare and submit daily, weekly, or monthly reports on production activities, including any challenges faced and solutions implemented.
∎ Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes where necessary.
∎ Address any production delays, equipment breakdowns, or quality issues quickly and effectively.
∎ Collaborate with other departments to solve complex problems that may impact production timelines or quality.
∎ Continuously assess processes and recommend improvements to optimize productivity.
∎ Manage the production budget for mobile operations, ensuring that expenses are kept within the approved limits.
∎ Identify opportunities to reduce costs without sacrificing quality or efficiency.
