Passionate about smartphones, technology & software quality
Basic understanding of Android OS, smartphone features & system architecture
Knowledge of software testing concepts
Ability to write clear bug reports and documentation
Basic understanding of ADB commands, Android and feature phones flashing tools
Knowledge of basic scripting
Proficiency in English is a must
Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
Team player with a proactive attitude
The incumbent must be solution oriented and possess a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude
Responsibilities & Context:
Perform testing of feature phones and android based smart phones
Take ownership of the software testing lifecycle (STLC) from the beginning of the project to completion.
Prepare and execute test plans, test cases and test scenarios.
Conduct Functional, UI/UX, Regression, Smoke, and Performance testing.
Identify, reproduce, document bugs and follow up with the development team to ensure resolution.
Log defects using bug tracking tool: Redmine
Collaborate closely with ODM, Project Managers, HW Team, Production Team and all other related stakeholders to ensure overall product quality.
Provide test reports, feedback, and suggestions for improvement.
Conduct Mobile Network Field Test
Conduct Camera Quality Testing
Market data analysis and deliver prompt solutions to the identified problems.
