Responsibilities & Context:

Manager (Stitching - Leather Bag):

Core Focus: Production efficiency, quality stitching, manpower control

• Plan and execute daily production targets as per line capacity

• Ensure correct stitching techniques, SPI, seam strength and finishing standards

• Monitor line balancing and operator efficiency

• Train operators on new styles, machines and quality requirements

• Ensure proper use and maintenance of sewing machines

• Minimize rejection, alteration and rework

• Coordinate with Cutting, Quality and Finishing departments

• Ensure discipline, safety and compliance on the floor

• Prepare daily production and efficiency reports

  Manager (Quality - QA & QC):

  Core Focus: Product quality, compliance, defect control

• Develop and implement quality standards for leather bags

• Conduct inline, pre-final and final inspections

• Ensure buyer specifications and SOP compliance

• Identify defects (stitching, material, finishing) and take corrective action

• Maintain AQL standards and audit readiness

• Train quality inspectors and production team

• Handle buyer inspections and audits

• Root cause analysis (RCA) for major defects

• Maintain quality reports and KPI tracking

  Manager (Packing):

  Core Focus: Accurate, safe, and compliant packing

• Ensure correct packing method as per buyer requirement (polybag, carton, labeling)

• Monitor packing quality and quantity accuracy

• Control carton marking, assortment and shipment standards

• Coordinate with Quality team for final inspection clearance

• Ensure proper handling to avoid damage during packing

• Optimize packing efficiency and manpower utilization

• Maintain packing records and shipment documentation

• Ensure on-time shipment readiness

  Manager (Inventory / Warehouse)

  Core Focus: Material control, stock accuracy, cost efficiency

• Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials, accessories, and finished goods

• Ensure FIFO/FEFO system (especially for leather and chemicals)

• Monitor stock levels and avoid shortages or overstocking

• Coordinate with procurement and production planning

• Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliation

• Control wastage, pilferage and damage

• Maintain ERP/store records and reporting

• Ensure proper storage conditions (humidity, temperature for leather)
