Experience:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Leather / Footwear Engineering or Equivalent from a Public Private or Oversees University.

• At least 4–5 years of relevant experience in a reputed local or multinational company (MNC).

• Strong knowledge of quality systems.

• Knowledge of footwear and leather manufacturing processes.

• Knowledge of material selection and product lifecycle.

• Responsible for managing and overseeing quality operations in both footwear and non-footwear factories within the assigned coverage area.

• Independently handle all quality improvement initiatives with strong problem-solving skills.

• Drive action plans to achieve quality KPIs, ensuring continuous improvement.

• Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (CFT) to meet and sustain cost-effective KPI targets, including minimizing SR (Sample Rejection) and CC (Customer Complaints).

• Ensure a consistent focus on “Right First Time” quality standards across all production processes.

• Possess strong knowledge of required physical testing procedures (for materials and finished goods) and standard parameters as per SATRA and ISO standards.

• Demonstrate in-depth understanding of footwear and accessories (bags, belts), including product re-engineering, materials, product lifecycle, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) across different manufacturing processes.

• Have good knowledge of product safety standards for footwear and leather goods.
