Responsibilities & Context:

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all restaurant functions, including kitchen, service, cashier, store, and support departments.

  • Supervise restaurant staff and maintain discipline, productivity, and service quality.

  • Plan, monitor, and control daily restaurant operations, including manpower deployment, duty rosters, attendance, and overall service quality.

  • Prepare menus, food costing, pricing, and ensure effective cost and inventory control.

  • Monitor food and beverage costs, inventory levels, stock movement, wastage, and ensure effective cost control measures are implemented.

  • Review daily sales, consumption, vouchers, cash, staffing, and operational reports.

  • Drive sales, marketing, promotions, and business development activities.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and licensing requirements.

  • Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Supervise procurement activities, supplier performance, product quality, receiving procedures, and storage practices, ensuring compliance with company standards.

  • Coordinate with Head Office, suppliers, employees, and relevant authorities to improve business performance.

  • Ensure proper maintenance and compliance of stores, refrigerators, freezers, kitchen equipment, and all operational assets.

  • Develop and implement operational policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Any other assignment not detailed herein & felt conducive by Management as and when necessary.
