1. Job Purpose

To supervise and control day-to-day production activities of cement pipe manufacturing, ensuring production targets, product quality, manpower utilization, machine efficiency, workplace safety, and minimum wastage are achieved.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities of cement pipe lines.

• Allocate manpower according to production requirements and machine operations.

• Ensure production is carried out according to approved production plans and quality standards.

• Monitor machine operation, raw material feeding, mixing, forming, pressing, cutting, curing, and finishing processes.

• Monitor production quantity, wastage, rejection, downtime, and machine performance.

• Ensure proper utilization of cement, fiber, Pulp, chemicals, pigments, and other raw materials.

• Identify production problems and take immediate corrective action in coordination with the Production/Technical team.

• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality Control, Store, Utility, and other departments for smooth production.

• Ensure proper handling, stacking, curing, and transfer of finished products.

• Maintain production records, shift reports, downtime reports, wastage reports, and other required documents.

• Ensure workers follow standard operating procedures (SOP), work instructions, and safety requirements.

• Monitor housekeeping and 5S activities in the production area.

• Control product wastage and assist in implementing measures to improve productivity and reduce production costs.

• Train and guide workers regarding machine operation, production procedures, quality requirements, and safety practices.

• Report machine abnormalities, quality problems, accidents, and other operational issues to the concerned authority immediately.

• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with plant safety rules.

• Support Kaizen, productivity improvement, and continuous improvement activities.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
